Geography of Cuttack

Cuttack is the former capital city of Odisha and the current headquarter of the Cuttack district. It is one of the important cities of the state.

Location of Cuttack

Located at 20°30' North Latitude and 85°49' 60'' East Longitude Cuttack is spread across 298 sq km. Also known as the millennium city, Cuttack is located at an elevation of 36 meters above the sea level. Cuttack is situated right on the delta formed by Mahanadi and its tributaries including the Kathjori, the Kuakhai and the Birupa from almost all the sides.
